Since Divvi Builder Camp launched on February 19th, the Divvi Ecosystem has been growing non-stop, with 15 teams already building on Divvi, working on a range of apps spanning DeFi, Payments, AI, and more.
Tapping into permissionless backend protocols such as Aerodrome, Fonbnk, Beefy, Celo, Sommelier, Vana, or Mento, the teams are building innovative onchain applications that will grow the web3 pie for everyone, and earn them real-time funding for the value they deliver to their integrated backends.
We are excited to see such diverse applications being built on Divvi. The applications being built serve crypto newbies and natives alike through creative implementations of Web3 protocols packaged in intuitive user experiences that facilitate interaction with some of the most renowned protocols in the space.
Teams like TuCop from Colombia and cKash from Kenya are building specialized financial apps designed to serve hyperlocal audiences.
“With the TuCop app, users will be able to pay merchants with cCOP, a Colombian stablecoin tied to the local Peso powered by Mento, either with a QR code or by sending funds with a phone number. This will bring crypto payments to the mainstream with innovative technology and a focus on the consumer experience.” – Juan, TuCop Founder
The cKash app will leverage cKES–a local stablecoin built on the Mento Platform–to make everyday transactions easier for Kenyan users, from cross-border payments to remittances. Users of cKash will also be able to swap into USDT in-app, thus accessing a savings-like feature that allows Kenyans to make the most out of their holdings.
The team behind Mememe won a Divvi bounty at EthDenver and is leveraging Divvi’s Mobile Framework to design a native mobile app to buy, sell, and trade meme coins—no seed phrases, no gas, just tap & play!
By abstracting blockchain complexities using Okto and integrating Aerodrome via Divvi, Mememe is gamifying meme coin trading for everyday users with a curated list of trending meme coins via a fun, interactive mobile UI, all while leveraging a sustainable business model with Divvi.
Theta.finance is a collateralized, yield-generating decentralized options trading platform that integrates the Divvi protocol. Options collateral is stored in yield farms built on Divvi-adopting backend protocols, earning users the full value of generated yield.
“As a builder, I'm rewarded for driving volume to the backend yield protocols through Divvi, earning a cut of the yield protocol's revenue, rather than taking a fraction of the yield owed to the end users themselves.” – Anon builder behind Theta.finance
Divvi recently ran a bounty at EthDenver BUIDLathon, where builders put their skills to the test. Three winners emerged:
The response was overwhelming, with talented teams showcasing some impressive ways in which Divvi can be leveraged to get rewarded for onchain impact.
Divvi Builder Camp is an open invitation to developers who want to build sustainable onchain businesses. Unlike grant programs, there’s no need for lengthy applications or approval processes. Instead, builders simply integrate the Divvi Protocol and start earning weekly builder rewards when their apps generate onchain impact.
No applications. No waiting period. Just get your Divvi Referrer ID and start earning rewards for the value you create onchain. (Learn how here; terms and conditions apply to Builder Camp.)
Your impact as a builder will be measured based on the incremental value it drives for the backend protocol(s) you build on, and Divvi will pay out builder rewards accordingly—permissionlessly onchain.
Joining Divvi Builder Camp is fast and easy:
The Divvi Builder Camp offers a unique incentive model where builders earn 50% of the total incremental revenue their product generates for the backend protocol(s) they integrate.
The future of Web3 development is impact-driven, and we believe in divvi-ing up the pie so those who create real value in the ecosystem are rewarded. With Divvi, you’re not just building—you’re getting a slice of the pie that you help grow 🥧
